Union Cabinet approves amendment bill on India - Bangladesh Land Boundary Agreement, 1974

The draft constitutional amendment will ratify protocols added to the agreement in 2011 for exchange of land in 111 Indian and 51 Bangladeshi enclaves. The Bill will be tabled in Parliament in the coming Budget session.
Delhi government introduces e-court fee in district courts

As part of modernising the judicial system, the e-stamping facility is intended to ensure hassle-free transactions and prevent fraudulent practices. Delhi is the first state to introduce this facility in all its district courts.
Governmnet to introduce revised National Food Security Bill in the forthcoming Budget Session

The revised Bill takes into account the recommendations of Parliamentary Standing Committee. It aims to ensure food security for all in a right-based manner and reinforces the role of states in strengthening the Targeted Public Distribution System.
Kerala launches country's first solar power project under Jawaharlal Nehru National Solar Mission

The project aims to generate 10 MW of solar power by installing 10,000 roof-top solar power systems of 1 KW each at individual houses. The project is expected to generate 15 million units of electricity annually.
