The PM Awards for Excellence in Public Administration for the year 2009-10 was presented to five innovative initiatives to acknowlege, recognise and reward the extraordinary work done by officials in strengthening public administration.
Bringing together the Commonwealth countries, this event would explore innovative alternative models of public policy and public administration with regard to the dynamic and volatile changes taking place in the international environment today.
The Commission has recommended government bodies to follow the Sevottam framework to improve the quality of public service delivery. It stresses on citizen engagement, redressal of public grievances and improving service delivery.

The Prime Ministers’ Awards for Excellence in Public Administration were conferred on seven good governance initiatives on the occasion of the Civil Services Day held on 21st April, 2013.
