Economic Empowerment for Minority Muslims in India through ICT

Summary:

This practice impacts upon the empowerment of women through information and communication technology. It has further equipped the women especially from the Muslim minority community with the basic knowledge of the computer science. Earlier these women were not aware about the benefits of technology and since the basic computer training is an expensive affair so it was even beyond their reach.

The project aims at the economic empowerment of the minority community through the knowledge of ICT. It has been located in Delhi. It has further empowered these women economically through penetration of knowledge of Information and Communication technology (ICT). The objective of the project is to inculcate basic knowledge of Computer and skilled these women in income generation and skill-development vocations. More>>>
