Harsh Mander
Harsh Mander was a member of the National Advisory Council and played an important role in formulating the National Food Security Bill. A former member of the Indian Administrative Service, he resigned in 2002 and has since founded and works with Aman Biradari, is the Director for the Centre for Equity Studies and is Special Commissioner to the Supreme Court of India to advise it on the Right to Food. His publications include The Ripped Chest: Public Policy and Poor in India and Fear and Forgiveness: The Aftermath of Massacre.
