About the GKC Blog

The Governance Knowledge Centre (GKC), undertaken by the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievance and Pensions (DAR&PG), has been envisioned as a key initiative under the Capacity Building for Poverty Reduction (CBPR) Programme, Government of India, to serve as a digital single point of reference for good governance practices.

Transformed by OneWorld Foundation India (OWFI) in March 2010 into a trusted knowledge repository with a vibrant and dynamic platform for the sharing of cutting-edge, governance-related ideas and resources, the GKC assists civil servants, governance practitioners and academics to seek practical and implementable solutions to the day-to-day challenges they face.

The Governance Knowledge Centre Blog is a significant platform for the promotion of collaborative knowledge exchange for the improvement of governance. GKC Blog entries are intended to provoke, inspire, and challenge followers to provide further comments, thoughts and/or ideas. Contributors are chosen by the DAR&PG and OneWorld Foundation India based on their expertise in chosen areas of interest.

The DAR&PG and OWFI would like to welcome all interested individuals/parties to join in on any and all discussions to contribute to this innovative model of knowledge sharing for improved public service delivery.
